A ground-breaking environment enrichment programme has allowed a pair of Dwarf crocodiles to be taught to recognise their own name. The programme at the Blue Planet Aquarium in Cheshire Oaks, UK, teaches the reptiles to recognise their own names and interact with their keepers. They are also taught to return to the water, to stay and to open their mouths. Once fully trained, the crocs will be able to take part in a series of stimulating enrichment activities.
