PIC BY PAUL BERTNER / CATERS NEWS - (PICTURED Lichen-mimicking flatid hopper) - Check out these bugs lives! The tiny insects are so well camouflaged that it is nearly impossible to make out these cleverly disguised critters. Paul Bertner, 31, from Canada, attempted to catch the bugs in their natural habitats as part of a hide and seek game and to show the level of biodiversity in nature. But while its now easy for Paul, a forester, to pick out the outline of a bug concealed in the undergrowth, he admits that it is definitely a skill to be able to spot the irregularities in natural patterns which give the insects away. By using macrophotography techniques, Paul was able to get right up close and personal to the insects, helping to show their bodies against the backdrop.
